“I told her to go early to the prosecutor's office and that's where he killed her”: mother narrates, crying, the femicide of her daughter in Neyba

Neyba, Bahoruco.– Amidst profound sorrow, a mother recounted the moments leading up to the murder of her daughter, which occurred in the municipality of Neyba, describing alleged threats, sentimental conflicts, and a situation of violence that, according to her testimony, ended in tragedy.

The woman explained that the young woman had traveled days before to take care of her after a recent surgery, and that in the midst of that circumstance the breakdown of the sentimental relationship occurred, marked —according to her— by jealousy, control and constant threats from the aggressor. According to her account, the alleged perpetrator insisted throughout the night with calls and messages, in addition to uttering threats against both her and her daughter. She also stated that the man took the phone from the young woman and exerted control over her belongings.
