Dominican outfielder Juan Soto shined this Wednesday by hitting two solo home runs in the New York Mets' 7-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. With this performance, Soto reached seven home runs for the season and added three RBIs in the game.
Soto's first home run came in the sixth inning, a 427-foot blast to center field that broke the scoreless tie. Later, in the eighth inning, he punished the opposing pitching again with another home run, this time to left field, extending the Mets' lead.

Pitcher Kodai Senga also stood out by pitching six scoreless innings, allowing only two hits and lowering his ERA to 1.16 on the season.
With this victory, the Mets secured the three-game series against the Diamondbacks and continue their fight in the National League East.
