"La Fruta" joins as a participant in La Casa de Alofoke 2

Santo Domingo. - The US-based humor content creator, Andy de la Cruz, better known on social media as “La Fruta”, was confirmed as the new member of the second season of the reality show La Casa de Alofoke, which will premiere this Monday, October 20, on the YouTube channel of Alofoke Radio Show. The news was confirmed by businessman Santiago Matías, creator of the reality show, who indicated that his entry responds to the call of thousands of Internet users who were asking through social networks to consider him as one of the participants in the house, due to his quick wit and spontaneity. "La Fruta", 48 years old, is known for recording humorous videos and everyday experiences with his son Andy, being one of the creators most supported and consumed by the Dominican diaspora in the United States, thanks to his personality and sense of humor.

Born in Haina, San Cristóbal province, where he lived until the age of 38, before moving to the United States. Although he is popular today for his videos, he also works in construction. Prior to his arrival in the United States, when he was 18 years old, "La Fruta" worked in the free zone of Haina making men's underwear. After completing his workday, he would draw a design of some fruit on the facade of his work package, which gave rise to his artistic name "La Fruta". Following confirmation, they join as a participant alongside the renowned Peruvian presenter Laura Bozzo; Dominican Major League Baseball player Luis Polonia; Panamanian model Gracie Bon; communicator and humorist Juan Carlos Pichardo; influencer and comedian Carlos Montesquieu; and Dominican urban artist La Perversa. In addition, Puerto Rican urban artists and content creators Jlexis and Michael Flores; Dominican influencers based in the United States Young Swagon, JD Con su Flow, Julissa Gutiérrez “Magalys” and CarePepita; as well as the young Germán Bautista Samil, known as “El Elegido”.
