Las Galeras concluye con éxito el Operativo Semana Santa 2026

Las Galeras, Samaná. – El Distrito Municipal de Las Galeras informó el cierre oficial del Operativo Semana Santa 2026, destacando un balance general positivo tras el desarrollo de las actividades durante el asueto de la Semana Mayor.

Las autoridades indicaron que el operativo se posiciona como uno de los más exitosos en la zona, al registrarse un (1) incidente, sin reportes de intoxicación alcohólica ni alimentaria, un (1) accidente de tránsito y ningún caso de ahogamiento por inmersión ni otras situaciones lamentables.

Este resultado fue posible gracias a la efectiva coordinación interinstitucional y al compromiso de los organismos de seguridad y respuesta, así como al comportamiento responsable de los ciudadanos y visitantes que acudieron a este destino turístico.

En ese sentido, las autoridades agradecieron la labor de instituciones como la Policía Nacional, Armada Dominicana, DIGESETT, POLITUR, Defensa Civil, el Cuerpo de Bomberos de Las Galeras, la Policía Municipal y FEDOMU, quienes trabajaron de manera conjunta para garantizar la seguridad y el orden.

Asimismo, resaltaron el liderazgo de la alcaldesa Ana Reyes y la gobernadora Teodora Mullix, quienes dieron seguimiento continuo a las acciones implementadas durante el operativo.

Las autoridades extendieron su agradecimiento a la población por acatar las orientaciones emitidas, lo que permitió que la Semana Santa se desarrollara en un ambiente de tranquilidad, prevención y organización.

Con este cierre, el Distrito Municipal de Las Galeras reafirma su compromiso de continuar fortaleciendo las acciones que garanticen la seguridad y el bienestar de residentes y visitantes.
