Barahona. – In a joint operation between the National Police and the Public Ministry, Luis Ernesto Labour, 51 years old, was arrested with 123 grams of controlled substances in a house in the Guatapanal sector, municipality of Vicente Noble, Barahona province.
The intervention, carried out after prior intelligence work, dismantled a point of sale and distribution of narcotics without incident.
The operation, carried out by agents from the Intelligence Department (DINTEL) and representatives of the Public Ministry, took place in the alleys of the aforementioned sector. During the intervention, in addition to the substances, Labour had a cell phone, two scissors, a scale used for weighing drugs, and 370 pesos in cash seized from him.

The detainee and the seized evidence were transferred and are in custody, awaiting to be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office for the corresponding legal purposes.
