MAP has working hours until Holy Wednesday for Easter 2026

Santo Domingo. – The Ministry of Public Administration (MAP) informed through circular no. 001054 that the working days corresponding to Holy Week 2026 will extend only until Wednesday, April 1st at 4:00 in the afternoon. The provision, issued on March 26, 2026, in Santo Domingo, establishes that this measure responds to the fulfillment of the role of the MAP as the governing body of public employment and of the administrative career systems, both general and special.

However, the institution specified that the heads of public bodies, entities and companies may establish special working hours and days, in those cases where the nature of the service so requires. This is with the aim of guaranteeing the continuity in the provision of services to citizens during the the Easter break.
