Men arrested with more than 150 doses of crack and other drugs in Boca Chica

Santo Domingo.– Agents of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), in coordination with members of the Public Ministry, arrested two men during an operation carried out in the municipality of Boca Chica, where 348 grams of presumed cocaine, 270 grams of marijuana and more than 150 doses of crack ready for distribution were seized. The detainees were identified as Claudio Ignacio González and Juan Ramón Pérez de Oleo, who were arrested on Juan Pablo Duarte street, in the Los Coquitos sector, as part of intelligence and interdiction efforts carried out by the authorities. Likewise, the authorities seized a scale, a bulletproof vest, a communication radio, a cell phone, cash, and other evidence that will be incorporated into the investigative process.

The DNCD also indicated that both men are identified as members of a network known as "Los San Juaneros", whose alleged leader, identified only by the alias "Antolín" remains a fugitive from justice, and reported that those involved are linked to a structure dedicated to micro-trafficking that operates in different sectors of Boca Chica and that is currently under surveillance by security agencies. Faced with this situation, the authorities urged the alleged leader to surrender through the appropriate channels to answer for the ongoing investigations.
