Bogotá.- The four crew members of the Jupiter ship, missing since the beginning of May in Caribbean waters, were found alive and are in stable condition, according to Ramiro Lozano, brother of the Colombian captain Henry Lozano, reported this Saturday.
"They were found by the Mexicans. They are stable," Lozano assured EFE, who added that rescue operations are currently ongoing, without further details being known at this time about the exact location of the discovery or the conditions in which the vessel was found.
The Jupiter, with a Dominican flag, had set sail on May 4th from Manzanillo, in the north of the Dominican Republic, bound for Cartagena de Indias, in Colombia, on a journey that was supposed to last between five and six days.
On board were the Colombian captain Henry Lozano and the Dominican crew members Joselito Antonio Paulino, José Aristides Ureña Díaz and Miguel Ramón Ureña Ruiz.
