Among the topics to be addressed are personal and business financial organization, managing economic stress at home, family protection through health and life insurance, and the legal and financial steps necessary to establish oneself safely in the United States.

This event was created in response to the real difficulties that thousands of Latinos face when emigrating: financial anxiety, legal misinformation, and lack of emotional support. We want to offer clarity, guidance, and community”, stated Joselyn Guzmán, founder of June Seventh Consulting and representative of Dominicans abroad.

According to a Pew Research Center survey, in December 2019, about 64% of Hispanics in the United States rated their financial situation as "just fair" or "poor," reflecting a marked economic gap. Various studies also indicate that this population faces barriers to accessing both financial services and mental health care. The conference seeks to address this reality with a comprehensive and accessible approach. The Dominican expert panel will be comprised of Dr. Williams Medrano, specialist in financial management and solidarity economics; psychologist Hayny Batista, therapist with experience in gender violence and emotional health; and social communicator Joselyn Guzmán, advisor in financial planning, insurance, and immigration. The activity is aimed at migrants between 18 and 60 years old, including entrepreneurs, independent workers, and parents. It will also feature moderation by influential figures in digital communities, and will offer a networking space and personalized consultations.
