The cause of death of rapper Carlito Junior Milfort, artistically known as Poorstacy, was revealed this Tuesday.
The TMZ portal confirmed that Poorstacy died on Monday by suicide at the age of 26. The singer shot himself on Saturday morning in a hotel room in Boca Raton, Florida.
Initially, he survived the gunshot wound and was transferred to a nearby hospital, where he died on Monday, November 29, after being disconnected from life support, the media reported.
Poorstacy's family does not believe it was a suicide and suspects it was a crime.

Poorstacy worked on the Grammy-nominated soundtrack of “Bill & Ted Face the Music” (2020). He also released two studio albums and obtained millions of streams for songs like “Don’t Look at Me” (2020) and “Hills Have Eyes” (2020). Drummer Travis Barker, who collaborated with Poorstacy on “Choose Life” (2020), mourned the death of his colleague. "Rest in peace, you will never be forgotten," the musician wrote in their Instagram stories along with a video of them performing the song.
