RD gets its second series in ITF-Cotecc U12 Team Final Competition

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic's female team won their second consecutive series this Tuesday, in the Final ITF-Cotecc U12 Team Competition 2025, which is being played from the 22nd to the 25th of this month, at the National Tennis Center of Parque del Este. The event is completely free for fans. Dominican girls didn't let Trinidad and Tobago breathe, whom they defeated 3-0. Kyara Khayyat defeated Anaya Roberts with a double 6-0. Ana Paula Vega won against Teijha Wellington by 6-0 and 6-1. In doubles, Vega and Elaine Martínez defeated Roberts and Wellington by 6-0 and 6-1. Dominican women now have a 2-0 record in two series, after defeating Mexico 2-0 on Monday. While in the men's branch, the Mexicans defeated the Criollos by 3-0. Álvaro Bañales defeated Elías Santana by 6-1 and 6-0 Karim Eduardo Balbuena over Eliezer Santos by 6-2 and 6-1. In doubles, Bañales and Fabio Romo over the creoles Santana and Santos 6-2 and 7-6(7).
