Santo Domingo. – Education Regional 15 successfully held the Reading and Writing Olympiad through a fully digital evaluation, thus consolidating a key advance in the incorporation of technological tools in the country's educational processes.
The activity was coordinated by technicians Alexander Uceta, Rosanny Aponte, Dolores Segura, and Santa Teresa, who led each phase of the process to ensure active participation and the fulfillment of the pedagogical objectives set.
For the first time, this contest was held through the SIGACOM platform of Regional 15, which allowed:
- Optimize response and execution times.
- Improve logistical organization.
- Strengthen transparency in evaluation processes.
The regional director, Eddy Chávez Placencio, highlighted that this modality represents a milestone towards the modernization of the education system.
"Holding this olympiad in digital format allowed us to be environmentally friendly by reducing the use of paper and ink; in addition, we made the process more agile, precise and efficient," said Chávez Placencio.
Likewise, the director thanked the support of the President of the Republic,
Luis Abinader, and the Minister of Education,
Luis Miguel De Camps, for promoting initiatives that transform the national educational quality.
Regional 15 extended its recognition to the educational centers, teachers, students, and technical teams that made this achievement possible, reaffirming its commitment to innovative, sustainable, and high-quality education.
