Santo Domingo.- Three months after the murder of Maireni Tiburcio Heredia, family members presented the project “3 Million Voices for Maireni and All the Fallen”, an initiative that seeks justice, memory, and social action against the violence that affects thousands of people in the region. The project aims to add the symbolic voice of 3 million people through activities, educational campaigns, and social advocacy actions. "Maireni deserves justice, and our voice will not be silenced," expressed a member of the Tiburcio Heredia family, thanking for the support received during these months. For their part, authorities present reiterated Saint Thomas' commitment to truth, security, and support for initiatives that promote citizen participation. Also, the next walk was announced, which will be in Sabana Grande de Boya, where the young woman was from, and will take place on Sunday, December 28th.
