VBPD asks community for help identifying suspects after shooting

Virginia Beach, VA.– The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to a shooting incident that occurred on the 1800 block of Atlantic Avenue. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers determined that six people sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities reported that two main suspects fled the scene and appear in images released by the police.

Suspect 1:
African American male, between his late teens and early twenties, wearing black shoes, black pants, and a red shirt or sweatshirt. The individual has dark skin and afro-style hair.

Suspect 2:
White male, late teens to early twenties, of stocky build, wearing black shorts and a white t-shirt with letters or a design on the front.

The police indicated that the suspects remain at large, so the VBPD is requesting the community's collaboration to identify them. Also, detectives are also trying to identify other people who might be related to the incident. The case continues under investigation by the VBPD Detective Bureau.
