Bonao and its equestrian tourism

Bonao offers you the opportunity to get to know all its ecotourism surroundings on horseback riding

Monsenor Nouel.- Equestrian tourism is based on horseback riding activities, where these are guided based on a series of marked trails and activities.

Also, it can include other related proposals, but the most attractive ones are, without a doubt, the routes that go deep into nature.

It is undeniable that horseback riding brings you much closer to nature, but it also helps you have friendly contact with the animal world, specifically, with horses, and what better than the province of Monsenor Nouel, especially, the municipality of Bonao to live that experience.

Horses are one of the biggest attractions in terms of tourist leisure activities, which is why this part of the country has seen the opportunity to develop this tourist attraction, combined with its natural resources.

This province has the main water sources of the Dominican Republic, as well as the best and most varied routes, trails, paths and microclimates that make Monseñor Noel unique and special for mountain ecotourism and equestrian sports.

To encourage domestic tourism and experience this, the municipal mayor Darío Rodríguez has been involved, along with entrepreneurs concerned about the development of the province, such as Antonio Marte, president of Rancho Guacamayo, and Juan Ramón Rosario, president of the Ecotourism and Cultural Cluster.

How is the tour?

Bonao offers you the opportunity to get to know all its ecotourism surroundings on horseback.

Those interested will have the challenge of taking the route through the Charco Bonito Route, where they can enjoy a swim in crystal clear and fresh waters.  Continue towards Rancho Gran Cali, Rancho Guacamayo and Rancho La Karreta.Rancho TR.

Likewise, the tour includes the opportunity to visit Rancho Bachue, Rancho Don Soto and Rancho Ludovino.

In these places you can get to know the different breeds of horses existing in the country, with a team willing to help you ride safely and with guides who will teach you everything the surroundings of the municipality of Bonao have to offer.

Take into account

Horseback riding costs RD$300 pesos per hour, per person.

There are Hotel, Ranch, and Horse combinations.
It is good to know that the horses have been trained to have contact with adults, children, and young people.

The horseback riding includes a brief training if you do not have experience riding a horse.
