Mary Pérez de Marranzini Passes Away: Founder of the Dominican Rehabilitation Association

Santo Domingo.- Through Celso Marranzini's X account, the death of Mary Pérez de Marranzini, founder of the Dominican Rehabilitation Association (ADR), was announced.

"His legacy will endure forever. The fortune he left was the millions of Dominicans who have passed and will continue to pass through Rehabilitation," wrote Celso, who is Mary's son.

He added that the funeral honors will be held in family privacy and we will later inform the date of the religious service for those who wish to join in celebrating his life.

Mary was born in Santo Domingo on September 20, 1926, in the home of Celso Pérez and Carmen Pintado de Pérez. She became a high school graduate in 1944.

He founded the Dominican Rehabilitation Association in October 1963, being the first entity dedicated in the country to the restoration of the quality of life to people with differentiated needs due to disability and currently we work from cognitive development from birth, to physical habilitation, in our 35 facilities, located in 25 provinces.
