Toronto, Canada.– An unexpected stumble on stage did not stop the energy of Shakira during her most recent performance in Canada as part of her world tour “Las mujeres ya no lloran”. The Colombian artist experienced an embarrassing moment when she fell during a choreography, but her reaction won over thousands inside and outside the concert.
The incident occurred when the first chords of the iconic song “Whenever, Wherever”, one of the most anticipated of the night, were playing. Shakira was walking in a circle with her arms raised when, apparently due to a floor defect, she lost her balance and fell to the side in front of the astonished gaze of the audience.
Far from being defeated by the moment, the singer showed her professionalism with a reaction that quickly went viral on social media. With complete naturalness, she spun on the floor, got up calmly, smiled, stuck out her tongue playfully, took the microphone and continued her performance as if nothing had happened.
