Police arrest "El Pollo", implicated in home robbery in Santiago

Santiago. - The National Police arrested José Joaquín García, alias “El Pollo”, 34 years old, identified as the alleged responsible for a robbery that occurred on March 18 in a house in the Cristo Rey sector in the south of Santiago. The arrest was carried out by members of the Property Crimes Investigation Division, based at the Mari López sector detachment, in compliance with court order No. 2025-AJ0017556. According to the complaint filed by the victim, the accused allegedly used a wooden object to steal, through a window, a package containing a computer, two cell phones (iPhone and Samsung), an identity card, a medical insurance card, and a bank card.

Following investigation and analysis of evidence, the authorities identified Garcia as the alleged perpetrator of the act, and he was therefore placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office for the corresponding legal purposes.
