The victim was identified as David Carlos Abreu Quesada, 44 years old, who died while receiving medical attention after being assaulted by a group of motorcyclists who intercepted him in the middle of a chase, according to the preliminary report.
According to the authorities, the conflict originated when the truck driven by Abreu Quesada hit a motorcycle, which provoked a violent reaction from several motorcycle taxi drivers. The event, which was captured on video and has been widely shared on social media, shows the collective aggression against the driver.
