Santo Domingo. – The president of the Central Electoral Board (JCE) will participate as head of the Electoral Observation Mission of the Inter-American Union of Electoral Organizations (Uniore) in the general elections in Honduras that will be held this Sunday, November 30, the date on which Hondurans will decide on the new authorities for the period 2026-2030.
The electoral observation mission of UNIORE is also comprised of the full members of the JCE, Samir Chami Isa and Rafael Armando Vallejo Santelises.
While the full member of the JCE, Dolores Altagracia Fernández Sánchez, will go as an observer of these Honduran general elections, representing the Association of Electoral Magistrates of the Americas (AMEA).
The members of the missions that will travel to be part of this electoral process that Hondurans will experience this weekend will exhaust a work agenda with the electoral authorities, political parties and civil society, in accordance with what is established in the electoral observation protocols.
It is reminded that the Dominican Republic is a member of Uniore and AMEA, represented by the Central Electoral Board and other entities of the country.
