Santo Domingo.– Vendors participating in the Gran Feria Agropecuaria del Instituto de Estabilización de Precios (Inespre) stated that since its opening, a high flow of people has been registered, which has significantly boosted sales and confirms the population's interest in acquiring food at affordable prices. Merchants consulted pointed out that since the early hours of the morning hundreds of citizens have gone to the Ciudad Ganadera to take advantage of the available offers, especially on high-demand products such as bananas, plantains, chicken, and pork. "Since we opened, people haven't stopped arriving. The movement has been constant all day long," expressed Daniel Santana, one of the vendors, who highlighted that the influx of public has exceeded initial expectations.

The participants agreed that the affordable prices and variety of products have been key factors in attracting buyers, which has been reflected in a rapid turnover of food and in an active and organized market environment. They also highlighted the good logistics and support provided by Inespre, which has allowed for an orderly development of the fair and more efficient attention to consumers. They indicated that the constant flow of people has benefited both producers and merchants, by facilitating direct sales without intermediaries. The Inespre Great Agricultural Fair is part of the "Christmas Breeze" program and runs until this Sunday in Ciudad Ganadera, with the aim of guaranteeing the population's access to quality food at fair prices during the Christmas season.
