Santiago.– The executive president of the Banco de Reservas de la República Dominicana, doctor Leonardo Aguilera, presented a special recognition to Winston Llenas, one of the great glories of Dominican baseball, during a commemorative act for the 93 years of history, passion and mystique of the Águilas Cibaeñas.

In the act, Aguilera highlighted Llenas' extraordinary career, whom he defined as a symbol of discipline, leadership, and pride for the national sport, also emphasizing his historical role within the organization. Upon receiving the distinction, Llenas thanked the gesture of the Banco de Reservas and expressed that the recognition represents an honor for both him and the organization of the Águilas Cibaeñas, to which he has dedicated a large part of his life as a player, manager and executive. Also present at the ceremony was the president of the Banreservas Volunteer Program, Dr. Carmen Alicia Quijano de Aguilera, along with former baseball players, athletes, and figures linked to baseball who shared with Llenas at different stages of his career. The tribute is part of a special activity organized to highlight the history and legacy of the Águilas Cibaeñas, one of the most traditional and successful teams in Dominican professional baseball, an institution that, over more than nine decades, has been a benchmark for the sport in the Cibao region.
