Miami — The Dominican Republic baseball team defeated the Israel baseball team 10-1 this Monday and secured its qualification to the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Baseball Classic.

With the victory, the Dominican team remains undefeated in Group D and confirmed its advance to the next round of the tournament along with the Venezuelan Baseball Selection, which also secured its ticket among the top two in the group.
