“La Volanta” is delivered for robbery to the brother of Ramón Tolentino in Villa Mella

Santo Domingo. – Edwin Ezequiel Encarnación, alias “La Volanta”, turned himself in to the authorities, being pointed out as the alleged responsible for assaulting the twin brother of the investigative journalist Ramón Tolentino, in an event that occurred in the Villa Mella sector. The incident was recorded on the afternoon of this Friday, when the victim was intercepted by the antisocial upon leaving a Smart Fit gym branch, located in that demarcation. According to preliminary reports, the aggressor managed to strip him of a chain before fleeing the scene. In an unusual turn of events in this type of case, it was reported that the stolen garment had been subsequently sent to the National Police Palace, where it was held in custody by the authorities for the corresponding legal purposes. After the public identification of the alleged involved, agents of the Central Investigation Directorate (DICRIM) activated a search operation in different areas of Santo Domingo Norte, which would have contributed to his voluntary surrender.
