DINTEL and Public Ministry seize illegal pistol during raids in Baní

Agents from the Southern Central Regional Intelligence Sub-Directorate (DINTEL), in coordination with the Public Ministry, seized an undocumented pistol during a series of raids carried out in different sectors of the Peravia province. The seized weapon is a Glock pistol, model 26, 9-millimeter caliber, with its magazine and ten cartridges, as well as an additional magazine with 15 rounds of the same caliber. According to the preliminary report, the gun was found hidden inside a hamper in the bathroom of one of the intervened homes, without any documents to support its legality being presented. Authorities reported that the weapon was retained as part of the investigative process and will be made available to the Public Prosecutor's Office for the corresponding legal purposes.
