For her part, Mayor Betty Gerónimo highlighted the role of the City Hall in the process, explaining that the survey carried out by the city council made it possible to accurately identify the sectors with the greatest need for sports spaces, thus facilitating a more effective intervention. She indicated that this type of action directly contributes to the well-being of the communities and the strengthening of the social fabric in the municipality. The delivery of these courts was made possible thanks to the joint work between the Ministry of Youth and the Mayor's Office of Santo Domingo Norte, where the territorial survey carried out by the local government served as the basis for the implementation of the program.
