Raymond Rodríguez: “We are proud to recognize so many mothers on their day”

Santo Domingo.– “We are proud to once again carry out this activity; this is our seventh consecutive year honoring mothers consistently, that's why we are here recognizing their effort, their work and their sacrifice, which with much love they are always there for each of us”, expressed businessman Raymond Rodríguez, during a conversation with the press in the midst of the celebration dedicated to mothers organized by the foundation he presides.

The meeting brought together more than 700 mothers from different sectors of the National District, who were honored at the Ensanche La Fe Sports and Cultural Club, in a day marked by the recognition of their role within the Dominican family and society. The event took place in a festive and close atmosphere, as part of the tradition that the foundation carries out every year. Rodríguez explained that the real objective of this initiative is to create a space for listening and recognition towards mothers, highlighting the value of their daily sacrifice in raising their children. “I feel honored, grateful, and very happy for the affection I receive from the more than 700 mothers who are impacted by this project in this edition”, stated the businessman, while affirming that he feels close to them. “I feel like an adopted son; we have had the opportunity on many occasions to impact the lives of so many mothers and today we are here to give them that warm embrace, as they always give it to us”.

During the activity, the attendees received gifts, hugs, and shared a special moment enlivened by the renowned singer-songwriter and musician Ramón Orlando, who contributed a festive atmosphere to the celebration. Finally, Rodríguez took the opportunity to send a message of reflection to the male population of the country, inviting them to value and respect mothers and women in general. "Gentlemen, we all come out of a mother's womb, that is almost always the first word one pronounces when they say mom, so we must always be grateful for their effort, their work and their hard work," he concluded.
