Abinader highlights mothers' sacrifice during national day "Mothers Who Sustain"

This is an initiative promoted by the Government to recognize, accompany, and celebrate Dominican mothers .

Santo Domingo.– President Luis Abinader, led the national day “Mothers who Sustain” which brought together more than 3,000 mothers and was held on the esplanade of the Directorate of Social Assistance and Community Food (Dasac), in the municipality Santo Domingo Este. Accompanied by the general director of Dasac, Edgar Augusto Félix Arbona, the president explained that the Government continues to make efforts to support the most needy mothers in the country through various social programs.

“I ask all Dominicans that in these days we give our mother a hug, give her a kiss and tell her how much we love her, because they are responsible for who we are today,” he expressed.

During the meeting with beneficiary mothers of social programs, Abinader highlighted that his administration works permanently to improve the quality of life of Dominican families, with special attention to the women who support their homes. The Head of State reiterated his government's commitment to continue promoting actions that contribute to the well-being of the population and asked for blessings for all mothers in the country.
