Santiago. The National Police, through the Property Crimes Investigation Division of the municipal district detachment of Cienfuegos, reported the arrest of a man accused of stealing several objects from a foundation located in the Santa Lucía sector, an event that occurred on June 18th.
The detainee was identified as Erichell Pérez, 24 years old, who was arrested under warrant No. 2025-AJ0040080, for his alleged direct involvement in the robbery.

According to the police spokesperson in Santiago, Fiordaliza Arias Popa, the accused had climbed the security fence of the establishment to steal several items, including: 10 drills, 20 electrical extensions, a 50-inch plasma television, a laptop, and a pair of sneakers. The objects were later recovered during the investigation and follow-up process carried out by the authorities. Arias also indicated that the accused has at least eight previous complaints for similar acts committed in different areas of the city. Erichell Pérez was referred to the Public Ministry along with the recovered items, for the corresponding legal purposes.
