San Juan River, Maria Trinidad Sanchez. – The Minister of Tourism, David Collado, started this Saturday the reconstruction work of the vendors' plaza in Mino beach, with an investment of over 103 million pesos, thus responding to a long-standing demand from the community.
The work will cover more than 2,600 square meters and includes the remodeling of sidewalks and curbs, service modules, bathrooms, showers, furniture, landscaping, lighting, terrace areas and a pergola, in addition to pedestrian access and universal inclusion ramps.
Collado highlighted that this intervention is part of the plan for the recovery and beautification of marine fronts promoted by the Ministry of Tourism, with the purpose of boosting the local economy and strengthening the tourism offer.
"Projects like this not only transform the beach environment, but also directly impact the quality of life of the merchants and the experience of the visitors," said the official.

The Tourism official recalled that the province of María Trinidad Sánchez, and in particular Río San Juan, has received significant investment to consolidate itself as a growing tourist hub. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by local authorities, industry entrepreneurs, and community members, who expressed their gratitude to the minister for supporting the tourism development of the municipality.
