Santo Domingo, D.N. – The Attorney General's Office of the Republic (PGR) and the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals, extradited this weekend two Dominicans accused of fentanyl and cocaine trafficking, in a further step in the fight against drug trafficking and transnational crime.
This is Starlin Alexander Valdez de los Santos (Dopeboy) and Edwin Rodríguez Grullón, who were handed over to the U.S. authorities at the Las Américas International Airport (JFPG), boarding a flight to the United States. The extradition was carried out under decrees 479-25 and 463-25.
Valdez de los Santos is wanted by a court in the District of New Hampshire for conspiracy to distribute and possess fentanyl, in violation of several sections of Title 21 of the United States Code. For his part, Rodríguez Grullón faces charges before the Southern District of New York for conspiracy to distribute and possess five kilograms or more of cocaine.

The Dominican Republic has reinforced international cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking, strengthening the capture operations of fugitives claimed by the US justice system and other countries.Both were arrested during search and capture operations carried out in April and August 2025, in the provinces of Santiago and Peravia.
