Santo Domingo.- Zulinka Yadhira Pérez Lizardo, daughter of the renowned merengue singer Rubby Pérez, allegedly received a check for one million pesos from the company Inversiones E & L, S.R.L., whose owner is Antonio Espaillat López, linked to the nightclub Jet Set, as compensation after the collapse of the infrastructure that ended the lives of 236 people and more than 180 injured.
According to the documents contained in the court file, this is a compensatory payment to cover personal damages and losses suffered as a result of the tragic event.
The document presented to the court details that Inversiones E & L granted "assistance or economic support intended to cover and resolve medical, personal expenses and any damage or harm suffered as a consequence of the collapse of the infrastructure where the establishment known as Jet Set operated".

Rubby Pérez's daughter signed the receipt, along with her ID number and date, and it is also stated that this agreement was made under the legality and full knowledge of the involved parties. This fact occurs within the framework of the legal proceedings against Antonio and Maribel Espaillat for the events that occurred at Jet Set, an establishment that closed its doors after the tragic incident that left human losses and deep emotional wounds among employees and relatives.
