These distinctions were delivered by AENOR Dominican Republic, represented by its country director, Ariel Espejo, during an event headed by the executive president of APAP, Gustavo Ariza, who highlighted the institutional commitment to an ethical, responsible operation aligned with international standards.

As part of its sustainability strategy, APAP has allocated more than RD$500 million to energy efficiency initiatives, green technology, and innovative architectural design, including ventilated facades, glass curtain walls, solar panels, fast charging stations for electric vehicles, and bicycle spaces. Its main locations in Santo Domingo and Santiago have also been recognized as cardio-protected spaces by the American Heart Association, reinforcing its comprehensive approach to health, well-being, and corporate responsibility.
The ISO 14001 certification validates that APAP implements an effective environmental management system, aimed at continuously improving its ecological performance and complying with applicable regulations. Meanwhile, ISO 45001 certifies that the entity guarantees safe working conditions, minimizing the risks of accidents and occupational diseases.

"These certifications reflect APAP's sustained effort to adopt the best international practices and ensure a positive impact on both the environment and its people," highlighted Ariel Espejo, from AENOR.

With this step, APAP not only strengthens its institutional leadership, but also establishes a national benchmark in sustainability, occupational health, and commitment to responsible development.
