Santo Domingo.- This Saturday morning, Dominican filmmaker René Fortunato passed away, one of the greatest documentarians in the country's audiovisual history.
Fortunado, 67 years old, is the author of several audiovisuals on Dominican history, which gained recognition for his research and narrative work, such as "Trujillo: The Power of the Boss", "Balaguer: The Tyrant's Legacy", "April: The Trench of Honor", "Caamaño: From Military Man to Guerrilla Fighter", among others.
