“We wanted to present the result but the total look couldn't be revealed until arriving at the carpet, which is what the artists are doing tonight at the Met Gala,” expressed Yapoort.
Karen, in her own style, added that this was something that was to be expected, since upon her dramatic arrival at the Premios Soberano red carpet, she received thousands of comments and negative criticism; however, tonight, in the midst of the Met Gala celebration, she proved to be ahead of the trends.
“In the end, that was to be expected, if the locals didn't crown me, well, they crowned me internationally. That was to be expected,” added the communicator.
Following Cardi B's appearance at the Met Gala, fans of Karen Yapoort came to her defense, due to the comments made against her last March regarding her elaborate arrival on the red carpet of the Premios Soberano 2025.
Karen, reposted all these videos on her Instagram account commenting on them and assuring that at the time no one trusted her concept, however, two months later other important figures in the world use the same resource used by her and her team.

Karen Yapoort stole the spotlight during the red carpet of the Soberano Awards, wearing for the first time a dazzling design by the prestigious fashion designer Luis Domínguez.
The stunning dress, crafted from double liquid silk gauze in an intense amarena garnet red hue, stands out for its sophisticated structure. With a strapless neckline, the piece enhances the silhouette with a corset at the back that extends to the hips, adorned with ascending studs that give way to a majestic skirt with a large train and tubular shapes.

According to its creator, Luis Domínguez, the design was conceived to highlight the essence of Yapoort: “This dress is a reflection of her strong and extroverted personality, but without losing sophistication. It is a bet that undoubtedly makes her one of the queens of the red carpet,” said the designer.
