The American singer Miley Cyrus has revealed that she suffered a "serious infection" during the filming, on the well-known Hollywood Walk of Fame, in Los Angeles, of the film that accompanies her new album 'Something Beautiful'.
The singer spoke about this setback during her appearance on the television show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in which she recounted that she decided to go to the iconic place to film at night, as it would be less crowded, and that she was affected by a serious infection, reports The Hollywood Reporter (THR).
"I recorded this video in October and, by November, Thanksgiving, I was admitted to the ICU momentarily," Cyrus said, clarifying that she was admitted to the intensive care unit, specifically, because the hospital was full due to the holiday, THR explains.
“My leg started to disintegrate… around the kneecap,” he told host Jimmy Kimmel. “And then the doctor asked me, ‘Do you have any idea why you have such a serious infection in your kneecap?’” according to the specialized magazine.
The 32-year-old singer was examined for the injuries sustained during the filming and reported that she was able to recover from them.

He also narrated that he had a large budget for the filming of the movie, but that he had spent a lot on clothes and finally had to go to the Walk of Fame at night as it was more economical.
Cyrus' visual album will premiere on the big screen on June 12, shortly after the release of her ninth studio album, "Something Beautiful", on May 30. The new film is described as "a unique visual experience, full of fantasy" and a "unique pop opera", recalls THR.
