Santo Domingo.– The communicator Iván Ruiz referred this Monday to the media phenomenon generated by La Casa de Alofoke, pointing out that, although he does not share the “toxic” content that appeals to morbid curiosity, he recognizes the impact and connection that this project has had with the public.
“I don't watch either La Casa de los Famosos or Big Brother. I haven't followed La Casa de Alofoke directly, only some things that come to me through El Nuevo Diario. I don't agree with the use of the media's power for toxic content, but I can't hide the phenomenon it has generated,” Ruiz expressed during his intervention.

The producer highlighted the participation of figures such as historian Iván Gatón and psychiatrist Héctor Guerrero Heredia within the reality show as a positive aspect, who, in his opinion, bring educational and social value to the dynamic. “If you can use that to connect with the general public and bring in people who can contribute, from that point of view I see it as useful and interesting,” he commented. Ruiz emphasized that his call is not to fill television with religious or superficial content, but to take advantage of Santiago Matías' media power for projects that help build a better society. “It would be very petty not to recognize what he has achieved. Hopefully that power can be used more for positive things. It is a phenomenon that cannot be ignored, but that should splash more productive and useful things,” he concluded.
