Vietnam.- The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, was slapped by his wife, Brigitte Macron, upon landing at Hanoi airport (Vietnam), where he is about to begin his Asian tour.
The moment was captured on camera by the American agency Associated Press (AP) and has generated international uproar. In the recording, it gives the impression of being a physical assault, reproaching something.

Macron steps back a bit, surprised by his wife's reaction and displaced by the blow. But he immediately turns around to greet those outside, where he perceives the airport staff and the press, who have already recorded the images.
The presidential couple then descended the aircraft steps, Macron offers his arm to his wife, as he usually does, but she doesn't take it and holds onto the handrail of the walkway.
This fact began to circulate rapidly on the internet and social media, especially through accounts critical of the president.
