LOS ANGELES, United States (AFP).– Despite a stellar performance by Dominican Karl-Anthony Towns, the New York Knicks fell 115-104 to the Minnesota Timberwolves, led by Anthony Edwards, who spearheaded the offense with 38 points.

Towns returned to what was his home for several seasons in the NBA and had a brilliant night, recording
40 points and 13 rebounds, but his effort was not enough to prevent the Knicks' defeat at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
"We are happy to see ourselves grow as a team and we want to continue on this path," Edwards expressed after the meeting. "I try to take the responsibility that corresponds to me."
Minnesota sealed the victory thanks to an offensive explosion by
Julius Randle, who scored
