With this victory, Sinner, 24 years old, achieves his twenty-first ATP title, the third in the 2025 season after being crowned at the Australian Open and at Wimbledon, and equals Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic as the only ones with more than one crown in the Chinese capital. The match was marked from the start: Tien, just 19 years old, opened with a double fault and facilitated the initial break. Sinner, firm with his serve (10 aces in total), always maintained control and closed both sets with the same score. The Italian was clearly superior in the statistics: he won 70% of the points, did not concede his serve and converted four out of six break opportunities, while Tien accumulated six double faults and could not take advantage of the two break chances he had. For the young American, who played his first ATP final after surprising Daniil Medvedev and Lorenzo Musetti in previous rounds, the experience proved valuable although insufficient to stop a rival in top form. With this title, Sinner already has two crowns in Beijing (2023 and 2025), becoming the third player with multiple conquests in the tournament and extending his streak of consecutive finals on hard court to nine, with a record of 23-2 on that surface in 2025. The Italian, who will now travel to Shanghai to compete in the Masters 1000, is emerging as one of the big favorites for the ATP Finals in Turin, closing a year in which he has confirmed his status as one of the dominators of the circuit.
