15-year-old student reported missing after jumping over a school wall in Santiago Oeste

Santiago.- Educational and police authorities are actively searching for Sinille Michael Torrez, a 15-year-old student reported missing since last Monday, after leaving the facilities of the Gabina de León educational center, located in the Bendición Norte sector, in the Santiago Oeste municipal district. According to the school's administration, the teenager was last seen when she jumped over a wall of the school grounds, an action that was captured on a security camera located at the back of the center and which had not been reviewed immediately. The images show that the minor left the school alone, without the company of other students or adults, which allowed the authorities investigating the case to establish that the student voluntarily left the educational center. Sinille Michael Torrez resides in the La Ceresa sector, in Santiago Oeste, and is in the first grade of secondary school. His disappearance has generated alarm among family members, teachers, and members of the educational community.

The minor's mother is part of the center's support staff, although it has not yet been possible to obtain her version or that of other family members regarding the circumstances surrounding the teenager's departure. The center's management reported that, after learning of the event, it activated internal protocols, contacted coordinators and teachers to verify the available information, and notified the relevant authorities to expedite the search. Educational authorities pointed out that the case is particularly sensitive because it involves a minor, while the school community reiterated the call to anyone who has information that may help find her.
