California.- A small plane crashed in a San Diego neighborhood early this Thursday morning, causing a fire in about 15 homes and dozens of vehicles, according to authorities.
Assistant Fire Chief Dan Eddy during a press conference that they are focused on evacuating people from the scene because “we have jet fuel everywhere.”
It is not known at this time if there are any injuries.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the Cessna 550 aircraft crashed near Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport. "The number of people on board is unknown at this time," the FAA said in a statement.
