Santo Domingo.– President Luis Abinader, led the national day “Mothers who Sustain” which brought together more than 3,000 mothers and was held on the esplanade of the Directorate of Social Assistance and Community Food (Dasac), in the municipality Santo Domingo Este. Accompanied by the general director of Dasac, Edgar Augusto Félix Arbona, the president explained that the Government continues to make efforts to support the most needy mothers in the country through various social programs.During the meeting with beneficiary mothers of social programs, Abinader highlighted that his administration works permanently to improve the quality of life of Dominican families, with special attention to the women who support their homes. The Head of State reiterated his government's commitment to continue promoting actions that contribute to the well-being of the population and asked for blessings for all mothers in the country. "This government works every day, every minute and every hour to find a way to improve the quality of life of our people," he stated, at the end of his congratulatory message. During the day, the president shared with the attendees and participated in the gift giving prepared especially to honor the effort, dedication and invaluable role that Dominican mothers play in every home in the country.“I ask all Dominicans that in these days we give our mother a hug, give her a kiss and tell her how much we love her, because they are responsible for who we are today,” he expressed.
