Abinader leads follow-up meeting on the Citizen Security Plan

Santo Domingo.– President Luis Abinader is currently presiding over the follow-up meeting on the Citizen Security Plan, with the purpose of strengthening the strategies implemented throughout the country to guarantee greater protection and tranquility to the population. The work session is taking place in the Officers' Club Hall of the National Police Palace. It evaluates the tasks completed to date, the results achieved, and the new provisions that will be adopted to continue raising security levels for the benefit of Dominicans. In the company of the president are the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre, and the Minister of Interior and Police, Faride Raful; the general commander of the Dominican Republic Air Force, Major General Pilot Floreal Tarcici Suárez Martínez; the director of the National Police, Major General Andrés Modesto Cruz Cruz, and of Migration, Vice Admiral Luis Rafael Lee Ballester; The president of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), Vice Admiral José Manuel Cabrera Ulloa; the Attorney General of the Republic, Yeni Berenice Reynoso; the Deputy Minister of the Presidency for Special Projects and Security Coordination, Roger G. Pujols; the executive commissioner for Police Reform, Luis Ernesto García Hernández, and the president of the Technical Commission for the Reform of the National Police Education System, teacher Mu-Kien Adriana Sang Ben.
