Activists from the ruling Libertad y Refundación Party (Libre) of Honduras have taken to the streets this Wednesday in several parts of the country burning tires and chanting "No to fraud" in the general elections of last November 30.
The protests began on Tuesday, after former President Manuel Zelaya, general coordinator of Libre and husband of Honduran President Xiomara Castro, asked party activists in Tegucigalpa to mobilize towards the state-owned National Institute of Professional Training (Infop), which is serving as a logistical support center for the National Electoral Council (CNE).
