Palma.- Singer Aitana, French DJ David Guetta, and the bands Viva Suecia and The Prodigy will be some of the acts that will star in the ninth edition of the Mallorca Live Occident festival, from June 12 to 14.
Along with them, other national figures such as Dani Fernández or Belén Aguilera will pass through the Es Bosq venue in Calvià (Mallorca) - the former Aquapark in Calvià, very close to Magaluf and Palmanova -; and international figures such as the hip hop band Cypress Hill or the British pop band The Wombats. The organizers have reported, in a press release, that in this ninth edition almost all tickets are already sold. In the case of the David Guetta concert, in charge of closing the festival on June 14, tickets are 95% sold, with premium areas (VIP, Terrace and Golden) sold out, and the same percentage has already been reached for the concerts on Saturday the 13th, when Aitana, Cypress Hill, Kaiser Chiefs - a band from Leeds that has been filling venues on both sides of the English Channel for twenty years - and the also British, these from Liverpool, The Wombats, perform. Occident Square, dedicated to electronic programming, closes on Saturday with Adriatique at the head of Mariano Mellino, Pional, Natascha Polké, DMASSO, Sorä and Bruz. Only half of the tickets are left. As for the first day, the performance of The Prodigy stands out, backed by three decades of live shows; The Libertines, Viva Suecia, Dani Fernández, Belén Aguilera, Standstill, and Samuraï share the lineup with them. In the La Plaza Occident space, the Majorcan night will have Luciano at the head of a 'lineup' that includes Miguelle & Tons, Deer Jade, Parallelle, ARKADYAN, Dark Places and Melohman.
