Alleged irregularity reported in immigration operation in Palo Blanco, Jarabacoa

Jarabacoa.– Mrs. Margarita Placencia, a resident of the Palo Blanco sector of the municipality of Jarabacoa, reported that allegedly four Migration agents entered her home in the early hours of yesterday, while she was resting. According to their testimony, the agents allegedly entered the property without presenting a court order or being accompanied by a representative of the Public Prosecutor's Office, claiming that foreign persons in an irregular condition were in the residence. Placencia assured that Haitian citizens have never resided in his home, which is why he considers the situation a worrying and unusual event. In addition, he called on the corresponding authorities to respond to the damage caused to the property and to investigate what happened.
