Santo Domingo.-The spokesperson for Antigua Orden, Ángelo Vásquez, stated this [day] that the organization joins the citizen mobilizations regarding the Senasa Case, pointing out that the fight for justice no longer depends solely on the authorities, but on the direct action of the citizenry.
"It no longer depends on what that power that is there, sick and terminally ill, does. What matters is what we citizens do, raise our voice," expressed Vásquez during an act of support for the protests. The leader pointed out that the institution acts as a "supporting actor", accompanying just causes without seeking prominence, and announced that the Democratic Rescue Movement will coordinate throughout the country the gathering of affected citizens to legally support their claims against the public and private actors involved.
