Banco Santa Cruz and PriceSmart announce their new partnership

Santo Domingo. - Banco Santa Cruz and PriceSmart presented the new Visa PriceSmart Santa Cruz Personal and Business credit cards, a joint initiative that expands payment options and benefits available to Club Members. During the meeting, executives from both institutions shared the details of the new product with some guests. The activity included a culinary demonstration by chef Gabriela Reginato, who was part of the event's program. "We are very proud of this new alliance with PriceSmart, which allows us to offer our customers innovative products and benefits for Club Members," said Rafael Jiminian, executive vice president of business at Banco Santa Cruz.

"We are pleased to be part of the launch of the Visa PriceSmart Santa Cruz credit card. Together with these two important entities, we continue to expand the offer of financial products that meet the needs of consumers and businesses in the Dominican Republic. This new co-branded card, designed specifically for PriceSmart Members and business owners, offers various rewards per purchase and encourages financial inclusion and the empowerment of local businesses and consumers loyal to PriceSmart," said Gustavo Turquia, general manager of Visa Dominican Republic. The presentation is part of Banco Santa Cruz's efforts to strengthen its product portfolio and offer financial solutions that meet the needs of its clients in different segments. The PriceSmart Santa Cruz Visa Card is available in Personal and Business versions, with benefits for each segment. The Personal version offers 6% SmartCash on purchases made within PriceSmart and on its website in the Dominican Republic, 3% Cashback at local pharmacies, 2% at restaurants and gas stations, and 1% in the rest of the categories of businesses, both locally and internationally. For its part, the Business Card grants 6% SmartCash on purchases made within PriceSmart and on its website in the Dominican Republic, as well as 1% Cashback in the other categories of commerce at local and international levels, in addition to other benefits designed to boost the operations and financial management of companies. "With these cards, we reinforce our commitment to continue adding value to the PriceSmart Membership. This alliance with Banco Santa Cruz and Visa allows us to offer our Members exclusive financial benefits that translate into additional savings and rewards on every purchase," highlighted Lorely Marte, Vice President of Payments at PriceSmart. The product incorporates Contactless technology with dual balance in pesos and dollars, in addition to the protection coverage offered by the Visa brand. Additionally, the PriceSmart Santa Cruz Personal card incorporates the new Click to Pay technology.
