COOPNAMA celebrates Summer Children's Camp 2025

San Pedro de Macorís. - Under the motto: "Boosting cooperation, we strengthen our nation", the National Cooperative of Multiple Services of Teachers, (COOPNAMA) began its traditional Summer Children's Camp 2025, dedicated to cooperation and savings.

More than 300 children, aged between 8 and 10 years old, sons and daughters of leaders from cooperative districts nationwide, are participating in this camp, held at the CoopMarena Beach Resort Hotel.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Santiago Portes, stated that this camp brings together a representation of boys and girls from the 319 cooperative districts throughout the national territory, children of the members of the Teachers' Cooperative.

“En estos tres días habrá un despliegue de actividades recreativas, científicas y deportivas, en donde los niños y niñas pondrán en práctica sus habilidades”, afirmó Portes.

For his part, the Education Manager, Prof. Ubaldo León, stated that this management has prepared this camp with the aim of surpassing previous years, where the most important thing will be the boys and girls: “We have prepared an event that must surpass the previous one, that is our goal, in organization and work, we can affirm that we are already achieving it,” León added.

During the development of the different activities, the talk on: "Cooperation and savings for the development of boys and girls" will be offered, by psychologist Diuveydi Figuereo Sicó.

Furthermore, the little ones will delve into the magical tale of "Ahorro Ventura", a story about the fascinating world of children's savings, led by the children's characters called Coopnamin and Coopnamina.

The objective of the Summer Children's Camp is to raise awareness among children about the importance of cooperation and saving in personal development and their social environment through different interactive activities.
